Updated Policies for COVID-19
We are making a number of changes to our office workflow to ensure the safety of our patients.
Policies will be updated as needed and are instituted indefinitely.
Appointments
- No walk-ins will be allowed. Please call ahead of time to make an appointment.
- We continue to have in-person visits for newborns, well-child checkups, and immunizations.
- We offer video visits (through the MyCarePlan app) for sick visits. If needed, a follow-up drive through appointment can be made.
We ask that you fill out all forms prior to your appointment time on the MyCarePlan app. We also recommend that you send your questions ahead of time through the app. If you have difficulty logging in, our staff will be happy to assist you. For other technical issues, please call support at 1-888-400-2730.
Health screening
- Sick visits will be conducted via telehealth options.
- Temperatures of all doctors, staff, and patients will be taken and recorded upon entering the office.
- Everyone in our office will be required to wear a mask or face covering, except for children under 2 years of age. Masks are not recommended for infants.
Physical distancing
- Patients will wait in their cars instead of in the waiting room. Please notify the front desk when you arrive (preferably via the MyCarePlan app) and we will let you know when we are ready for you.
Cleaning protocols
- We thoroughly disinfect every exam room after each visit. This includes cleaning all surfaces, including exam tables, chairs, keyboards, computers, and handles.
COVID-19 FAQ
Do I need to come in for my well child exam during the shelter-in-place?
We strongly encourage patients to come in for their well-child checkups. Staying on-schedule for vaccinations is extremely important for children to have immunity to other diseases.
If you are up-to-date on all of your vaccines, we are happy to accommodate your needs and reschedule your appointment for a future date.
What type of appointment can I make for other health-related issues?
Please contact the office first. Many issues, including, but not limited to conjunctivitis, allergies, cough, congestion, rash, nausea, and nutrition can be addressed via a video visit. An in-person, drive-through visit can be scheduled if necessary.
