    Before your baby is born

Come in for a prenatal visit! Parents-to-be are welcome to visit as a way to get acquainted with our office. We'll answer any questions that you have about our practice or your new child.

Check your insurance. Your baby is typically covered by the mother's insurance for the first 30 days of life. However, your insurance may have some differences. It's best to check and find out about your insurance's newborn policy.

Please remember to pick Dr. Qing Dong (MD) as your baby’s Primary Care Physician (PCP) during the enrollment process.

If you belong to a medical group other than Brown & Toland Medical Group (such as Hill Physician Medical Group or Integrated Medical Group) and wish to enroll your baby with us (Brown & Toland Medical Group), please retroactively enroll your baby with Brown & Toland from date of birth and not 30 days after.

If you belong to Brown & Toland Medical Group (BTMG) but choose to enroll your baby with another medical group (such as Hill Physician Medical Group or Integrated Medical Group), please make the effective date with the new medical group after the last date of service from our office. DO NOT retroactively enroll your baby with the non-BTMG medical group to the baby’s date of birth.

If you fail to enroll your baby with a correct Primary Care Physician or a correct Medical Group, you will be responsible for payment of our services.
